1. Overview

Sophra is a personal budgeting application developed by Maksim Tarasov. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed, why it is processed, and the choices available to you.

2. Information you provide

Depending on how you use Sophra, you may enter information such as transaction amounts, expense and income details, budgets, savings goals, profile preferences, language and currency settings, and a profile image selected from your device.

3. How information is used

Information you enter is used to provide the app’s budgeting, goal-tracking, personalization, educational, notification, and security features. Sophra does not sell your personal information or use it for third-party behavioral advertising.

4. Storage and device permissions

Sophra is designed to store core budgeting information on your device. The app may request access to features such as Photos, Camera, notifications, or Face ID only when needed for a feature you choose to use. You can manage these permissions in iOS Settings.

5. Exchange-rate and platform services

When Sophra retrieves exchange-rate information, a third-party network service may receive routine technical information associated with the request, such as an IP address and request timestamp. Sophra does not intentionally send your entered budget details with an exchange-rate request.

Apple may process information through services used by the app or operating system, such as TestFlight, the App Store, notifications, device permissions, diagnostics, or authentication. Apple’s handling of that information is governed by Apple’s own policies.

6. Data sharing

Sophra does not sell your information. Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, investigate misuse, or protect the rights and security of the app and its developer.

7. Data retention and deletion

Locally stored information generally remains on your device until you delete it within the app or remove the app. Deleting Sophra from your device generally removes its locally stored app data, subject to any device backups controlled through Apple services.

8. Security

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect information processed by Sophra. However, no device, storage method, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Children’s privacy

Sophra is not directed to children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may contact the developer.

10. International users

If you use Sophra outside the United States, information processed by third-party platform or network providers may be handled in countries other than your own, subject to their policies and applicable law.

11. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as Sophra changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when material updates are published.
